Now that I've done both Sharp 圆8000 and SNES videos I will probably do a comparison as the Sharp version is 1000x better, so stay tuned if you want to see that. Real simple action/adventure title but has some charm, and a really awesome synthy soundtrack. I've been playing this game since it was brand new so any questions just let me know. Note that if you already have the item offered in a chest, the game will simply give you GP, which is why I sometimes got that instead of an Elixir or something like that. Trivial treasure chests like GP are not noted in this description, but are still shown in the video.
*All extra level grinding was done off-camera, but that is the ONLY thing not shown. You can watch me complete the original version on the Sharp 圆8000: And no I never finished Drakkhen - I found it a truly bizarre game, although it had some really great music. I got all the HP/MP containers, items, power ups.I did everything you can do. And I have to say I am actually very impressed by the translation of this game - in a time where you might run into a script that appeared to be typed by a three year old.not only almost no errors in the text, but the prose is incredible. The story is decent enough and there is plenty of room for hidden things and exploration. The second part, in Hujia, I had to do over after I had already completed the game, for some reason I lost that section - so there might be a one level discrepancy. The pixelated transitions are simply from when I stopped Camtasia, but I only leveled in a few places off-camera. Not sure why I liked it so much, but it's been in my rotation ever since. I used to rent this when it was released over and over until one of my parents finally bought it for me. Today I've played one of my favorites from the Super Nintendo era - a pretty solid action/adventure/RPG title.
